Dubai Parking Prices During Eid in 2025

Dubai’s parking game is getting a makeover! Parkin PJSC, the city’s biggest public parking operator, has announced a new pricing system kicking in from April 4.

The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has given the green light for this change, which means peak-hour pricing will now apply for six out of the 14 chargeable hours each day. But don’t worry—off-peak parking rates are staying the same!

So what does this mean to you? Here is a quick rundown of the key things Dubai residents need to know about the new parking fees:

1. New Peak Hour Pricing Across All Public Parking Zones

Dubai parking lots are divided into four significant tariff zones—A, B, C, and D—each with premium and standard parking lots. Peak periods are now between 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM and 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, and during this period, premium parking will be AED 6 per hour for every zone six days a week (not Sundays).

2. Free Parking on Public Holidays

Glad tidings—residents would no longer pay for parking during public holidays! So, be it Eid or any public holiday, you will be able to park for free without having to spend more dough.

3. Zone Names Are Changing (But Not Their Locations)

Dubai's familiar parking lots A, B, C, and D are getting a minor revamp and will now be called AP, BP, CP, and DP. The change is merely in name—so you won't have to learn an entirely new parking scheme. Also, daily parking rates continue to exist in B and D zones, with the premium parking rate being AED 40 per day in Zone B and AED 30 per day in Zone D.

4. Peak Pricing Applies Just 6 of 14 Payable Hours

Peak pricing applies only six hours a day, so if you can time your parking to occur during these hours, you will save money. Off-peak hours are from 10:00 AM until 4:00 PM and 8:00 PM until 10:00 PM, and for these hours, standard parking fees remain the same.

5. Premium Parking Prices On the Rise

If you are parking in high-traffic areas, be prepared for some rate adjustments:

2 hours: Was AED 5, now AED 12

3 hours: Was AED 8, now AED 18

4 hours: Was AED 11, now AED 24

The Bottom Line

Dubai's parking system is evolving to better manage traffic flow and offer availability in high-demand areas. Peak pricing will sting a little, but wise parking choices and off-peak planning can pay dividends. And at least public holiday parking is still free!
